We offer the unique opportunity to attend French language classes on campus!

Discover our French Immersion summer programs for sporty high school students! You can practice your favorite sport for one or two weeks and attend French lessons on the same campus. Our sports camps in France are located in Vichy, Montauban and Mâcon. All campuses have excellent sports facilities and dormitories: everything students need to have a pleasant and safe summer in France. These sports camps are real French language camps, allowing immersion in the French language at all times! 

In the morning students practice a specific sport (3 hours) and in the afternoons, students study French (3 hours). They can choose:

How will I study French?

This summer camp in France is a real French immersion camp because coaches, teachers, and most campers are French (90%). International students can join the French campers during the sports practices and the social activities planned inside the camp. Those camps are real French Immersion Summer programs for high school students. International participants must have a minimum French level (2 years of French studies) to interact with the other campers and understand what the coach says.

On the first day, students take a level test so that teachers can adapt their course to the students' language level. Levels usually go from low intermediate to high intermediate. Qualified native French teachers teach all lessons. Students attend 3 hours of French every afternoon during weekdays.

Excursions and other activities are organized in the evening and at the weekend.

Once the sports day is over, it's time for rest and recreation.

Each evening, the children will have the opportunity to participate in recreational activities that will bring the day to a happy end. These activities are usually held in larger groups and the goal is to create a community spirit within the center. They are created, implemented and supervised by our certified counselors. The sports coaches will also participate to share great moments with the children!

The teams set up evening activities adapted to the age and tastes of the children, the weather and the level of tiredness of the group. 

Lodging in the campus of Vichy, Montauban (new summer camp in France in 2024) and Macon campus on a full board basis.

Students live in student residences (from 2 to 4 beds per room) with shower and toilet. French and international campers share the same room based on age and gender. It is possible to specify a person with whom to share the room. Full board accommodation is provided. The 4 meals of the day are balanced menus cooked by the chefs at the center.

Facilities at campus: The campers will be able to benefit from quality infrastructures to train in all serenity: Lounge, Outdoor space, Dining room and a Leisure and activity area. 

• You bring your child to the camp in Macon/Montauban/Vichy and pick him/her up at the end of the stay;
• or you bring your child to the train station Gare Bercy (Vichy) or Gare de Lyon in Paris (Macon) where he/she joins other campers traveling by train to Vichy/Macon (Accompanied by SEJ staff. Additional fee applies). The trains leave between 12 and 2pm. (this option is not available for Montauban)
• or your child flies to Paris arriving in the early morning at a Paris airport BEFORE 9 AM on the camp's start date; our staff will pick him/her up at the airport and transfer him/her to Bercy (Vichy) or Gare de Lyon (Macon) in Paris where he/she joins other campers traveling by train to Vichy/Macon (Accompanied by staff. Additional fee applies) (this option is not available for Montauban)

• You bring your child to the camp in Macon/Montauban/Vichy and pick him/her up at the end of the stay;
• or your child travels back to the train station Gare Bercy (Vichy) or Gare de Lyon in Paris (Macon) with the group and staff and you pick him/her up there (Accompanied by SEJ staff. Additional fee applies). The trains arrive in Paris late afternoon on the camp's end date. (this option is not available for Montauban)
• or your child travels back to the train station Gare Bercy (Vichy) or Gare de Lyon in Paris (Macon) with group and staff; our staff will pick him/her up at the train station and transfer him/her to a Paris airport (Accompanied by staff. Additional fee applies). His/her flight should NOT TAKE OFF EARLIER THAN 9 pm on the camp's end date. (this option is not available for Montauban)

Each camp session lasts for 7 or 14 days. Arrival on Sunday and departure on Saturday.

VICHY Campus Albert Londres (Basketball, Gymnastics, Volleyball): 

• July 7th, 2024 (1 or 2 weeks)

MÂCON (Soccer, Dance, Tennis)

• July 7th, 2024 (1 or 2 weeks)
• July 14th, 2024 (1 week only)

MONTAUBAN (Soccer, Gymnastics, Volleyball)

If your child is already comfortable with speaking French, then it is better to enjoy this 100% French immersion WITHOUT French lessons. This way, he/she will be able to spend more time with French students and enjoy the full schedule of the sports sessions.

If you want to be part of our French Sport Camp in France, you must consider that: 

• We only accept students from 13 to 17 years of age
• You must have studied French for two years to attend this French language camp
• You must have strong motivation and willingness to create friendship with other participants 
• You have to do your best effort to speak in French at all times
• You have to make sure that you have the medical condition to be part of this program

Thanks to this our French language camps with sports, you will be able to improve your French, practice a sport and meet new friends. Our campers are expected to be mature and flexible.
