Additionally, participants can opt for additional lessons in tennis, golf, and horseback riding, elevating their summer adventure to new heights.

The program ensures that students use French during lunch and all the activities, encouraging interaction between students of different nationalities.

How will I study French?

Speaking - speaking lessons twice a day. Emphasis is on the improvement of speaking skills, interaction, coherence, fluency, and confidence in speaking. (2 sessions)
Listening - listening comprehension lessons once a day. These lessons use mainly short clips and assess the children's comprehension and interaction with each other (1 session).
Written expression - lessons in written expression once a day. These lessons are similar to typical grammar lessons except that all activities and topics are based on the speaking and listening lessons. (1 session)
Reading comprehension - reading comprehension lessons once a day. Similar to listening comprehension, but with an emphasis on understanding written texts. (1 session)
Language in action - language games, language in action, debates, and other activities involving the target language in action. (2 sessions)

On the first day, students take a level test so that teachers can adapt their course to the student's language level. Levels go from beginner to high intermediate.

Group classes - small groups up to a maximum of 9 students per level and age group. There are 7 sessions of 45 minutes per day.

On Wednesday afternoons you can join a variety of activities, both on and off-site, including*:

Sports: Enjoy sports like soccer, badminton, basketball, handball, rugby, field hockey, fencing, martial arts, climbing wall, swimming, tree climbing, rock climbing, hiking, tennis, horseback riding, mountain biking, archery, and beach volleyball.

Art: Discover your artistic talents through creative arts, sculpture, drawing, painting, scrap-booking, fashion design, singing, stage improvisation, digital photography, and even the creation of short films.

Wellness: Promote your well-being with activities like yoga, aqua fitness, Pilates, fitness, Zumba, relaxation, and refreshing walks.

Other activities: Enjoy a variety of fun and team-building pursuits such as orientation hikes, kayaking, team-building exercises, escape games, disco and talent shows, magic shows, hip-hop dance, table tennis, board games, and engaging treasure hunts.

Additionally, exciting outings are organized to places such as city visits to Brussels, Bruges, and Maastricht, visits to theme parks, and exploration of exhibitions and museums like the Waterloo Museum, exhibitions in Liège, and the Fashion Museum. You can even get a taste of the sweet world of chocolate with a visit to a local chocolate factory.

Optional sports and French private language lessons

Individual lessons - the content of these lessons is based on the children's needs and on the teacher's assessment. They are recommended as preparation for a specific exam.

French + Sports Tennis, golf, or horseback riding lessons can be combined with the French courses, instead of the activity module of the classical program, coached by French-speaking professionals. All levels are accepted.

Please note that these specific formulas are only available on certain dates. Appropriate clothing for each sport is required.

Choice of tennis, golf or horse-riding (one of your choice, defined periods) in the target language after class:  330 EUR per week

• Language + Golf: 21/7 - 3/8
• Language + Tennis: 30/6- 13/7 and 4/8 - 17/8
• Language + Horse riding: 14/7 - 27/7 and 11/8 - 17/8

During your French immersion camp in Belgium you will live at a residence. 

In the municipality of Ferrières (Province of Liège), juniors are welcomed on the grounds of the Collège Saint Roch, a beautiful historic building from the 17th century. Just 30 minutes from Liège and 5 km from the center of Ferrières, an exceptional landscape and green environment await the campers. At this beautiful boarding school close to Spa, students from all over the world come to study French, German, English, or Dutch.
The facility offers a comprehensive selection of sports and leisure amenities for juniors, including:

• two beach volleyball courts
• two mini-tennis courts
• three badminton courts
• petanque court
• table tennis room equipped with multiple tables.
