I booked a 3-week summer homestay in the U.S. with Nacel because I was very interested in getting to know the U.S. culture and exploring Massachusetts. My match was great! I was very lucky to have a host family who lived by a lake, so we had plenty of activities to do, such as kayaking, hiking, and swimming.
In addition, we traveled together to Mount Washington, Boston, Vermont, New England, and other local cities. We talked about politics and law, and they explained how each state can have independent laws while still responding to federal laws. 
I was very glad that the Nacel advisor also kept in touch with me throughout the program and periodically checked on me. It made me feel supported and that someone was there for me if I needed assistance.This is definitely a summer plan that I would do again, and a program that I would recommend organizing with Nacel.
