This 1- to-1 home tuition program is proven to be one of the most effective ways to learn a language in a short period! You live with your teacher and share meals and social interactions. This way, even when you are not attending class, you will make rapid progress. It is a very intensive way of learning a language since you study AND live in your teacher’s home. Our intensive language immersion programs in Japan are the key to your success!
What should I expect from my one-to-one Japanese lessons?
Each student is hosted by a private teacher with native language skills. Thus, the home tuition program offers a full Japanese language and cultural immersion. Wherever the student chooses to stay, there will be a vast array of wonderful things to discover and take in. Total immersion guaranteed! The Japanese lessons will cover the four skills of the language learning process: listening to Japanese, reading Japanese, writing, and speaking Japanese.
We also offer special programs to help improve school or university levels and prepare for exams.
The teacher is also the host for the accommodation, giving the student a unique opportunity for full integration into the local environment. When you book your private language course at your teacher's house you can choose between 15, 20, or 25 hours of Japanese lessons.
Closer Supervision (<18 years old) Is teacher’s home tuition suitable for my child or my teen?
Sure. We ensure that your child is welcomed by a teacher who will take great care of him, his safety, and his welfare. The teacher will also adapt the language course to the skills and specific needs of a child.
We offer a close supervision option for children traveling alone. The course is designed for younger students and meets their needs. The homestay will be in a friendly and caring family and guarantees the presence of an adult member of the family at all times. This option is available for students under 18 and is compulsory for students aged 12 or under.
Special Needs: please inquire after the availability for adults and children with special needs.
TIP! Our tips for a child or a teen: This language learning program has been quite intense, we do not advise you to book it for more than 2-3 weeks. Students under 18 must book General Activities or Cultural Visits in addition to their private lessons. Consult us to learn more about all extracurricular options!
