Grade report: Can students receive a certificate from the Korean school for the classes they attend?
Yes, the Korean school can issue both a certificate of attendance and a transcript for the Korean and academic classes attended. These official documents are provided directly by the school.
However, recognition depends on the type of visa:
- For long-term students (with a student visa):
Students are officially enrolled in the Korean government's education board system. Therefore, their credits and academic performance are officially recorded and may be recognized as part of their academic record in Korea and potentially abroad. - For short-term students (with a tourist visa):
Students are not enrolled in the government system, but their class attendance, exam results, and participation are recorded by the school itself. These records can still be used to demonstrate their studies, although they are not part of the national education database.
Visa Information: Information regarding visas and other immigration processes will be provided upon enrollment. To learn more, visit the Embassy of Korea website. You travel with a K-eta visa issued within 24 hours or a travel visa (up to 90 days).
