A French summer camp in Cannes specifically designed for independent 16- and 17-year-olds who want French classes, international friends, beach activities and the freedom to enjoy Cannes within an organized residential program.
Why choose this French summer camp in Cannes?

How much independence do students have in Cannes?
Camp staff are available to students 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, except during authorized independent free time. Support begins when students are met on arrival at Nice Airport.
All students automatically have permission to leave the school unaccompanied until 7:30 PM.
Parents then choose one of two options for evening free time:
- No evening permission: students may not go out independently after 7:30 PM.
- Evening permission: students may stay out independently until 10:00 PM Monday through Thursday, until 1:00 AM on Fridays, Saturdays and evenings before a public holiday, and until 7:30 PM on Sundays.
This gives families a clear choice over the level of independence they feel is appropriate for their teenager.
What French level do students need?
The Cannes summer camp welcomes students from beginner to advanced level. Lessons focus on helping teenagers communicate more confidently in French while also developing their grammar, vocabulary and overall language skills.
Teachers use age-appropriate exercises and interactive activities to encourage students to participate and speak French during class.
The standard course includes:
- 20 lessons of 45 minutes per week
- Monday to Friday
- Classes from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM, including a 15–20 minute break
- Maximum 15 students per class
On the first Monday of the stay, students take a placement test so that they can join the class best suited to their level.
Can students take additional French lessons?
Yes. Students who would like more French practice can add an intensive course on two afternoons per week, from 1:45 PM to 4:00 PM.
These additional classes focus particularly on spoken French and take place in smaller groups of up to 8 students. Students need a minimum A1 level of French to join the intensive course.
