There are no words to thank, all the love, the dedication they had with the kids especially with Sergio.

It was a wonderful year full of experiences, of growth, of sharing, a school full of opportunities. A thousand and thousand thanks for everything, for your concern, for being attentive to the needs of the boys. God bless you and grant you many more years in this wonderful work to continue taking children to a wonderful world.

    Thank you Nacel!

I really want to thanks for your hospitality and support provided to my daughter Abril B. all these months at St. Paul American School – Gezhi in Shanghai where she met wonderful people and she learned so much not only in the classroom with excellent teachers but also in different aspects of life. I am sure she will go back to China in a near future to live a new experience and remember these good times. My best regards.

    Javier B.

If I had to describe my experience in China in one word, I would use the word "unique". At first I was afraid to travel to the other side of the world, but I quickly forgot it.

This opportunity changed my life forever, and for the better. My advice is to accept these opportunities, as it is one of the things that most make you grow as a person. The first month was quite hard and I felt too far away from Costa Rica, friends and family, but talking to the friends I made, for the second month, I no longer wanted to come. I learned to be more independent, to control money, to move around a city as big as Shanghai without any problem.

I wanted to inform you and the Nacel group that, unfortunately, I will not be able to attend school in Shanghai any longer. I just got an opportunity to be enrolled in a program for high-school student that concentrate on leadership and changing world. Therefore, I will be taking a gap year, however still be taking online-schooling classes. I am extremely thankful to Nacel and to you for such a great opportunity to have my education in China. Thank you so much for helping me from the very first day of my email to you. Your help and work changed my life and gave me opportunity from where I learned more than from anywhere before. Thank you. Zhenya

I am a 17-year-old costarican student that had the privilege to travel and study in Shanghai, China for the good part of a year. This was undoubtedly the best experience in my life so far. The opportunity I had gave me the chance to expand my view on the world, grow and learn about new cultures, and make friends from around the globe, not to mention the fact that I also learned a new language. Every aspect of living and studying on my had huge impact on my personal and educational growth, I grew to become a mature young adult, learned about things I would have never experienced in Costa Rica. I attended Saint Paul American High School-Shanghai, the education I received was superb and it thoroughly surpassed my expectations. When I look back and think about key moments and things, I realize that there was something I never considered important before embarking on this journey, this was the chance to travel on my own and visit some of the most culturally rich places in the world. Looking back on this journey all I can say is Wow!, this experience has definitely marked my life and I will be forever grateful to everyone who made this possible.

When I was first presented with this opportunity I was really unsure if I it was going to be good for me or if I was going to enjoy it. I am glad I decided to take the leap and go to SPAS because by far it has been one of the greatest things that have happened to me. The experience in general was great I visited one of the most develop cities in the world, learned a lot of Chinese, made lots of friends, experienced and learned new things I never thought I will, and was so fascinated from the new culture I had never experienced. The feeling of living in a dorm, waking up by myself, going to breakfast start school is exciting because it teaches you to be a better more responsible person and become self-sufficient which is one of the best values this journey left for me. The environment is awesome because the school is beautiful, the people are really friendly and super nice, the classes are fun and the teachers are too. Everybody is there for you and will help you with anything. The best part for me was visiting the city, every time they took us out or if I went by myself or with friends to the city, it was exciting to think what new things I was going to do. One of the most unforgettable moments was the time we went to Huangshan which is home to the one of the most beautiful mountains in China, the Yellow Mountain, and beside that I we visited the city and tried local food and even learned a bit of history in the old towns. Beside the great experience at school you can go in a trip, in the few times we had holidays I went to Beijing which was absolutely the best part of the journey and then Hong Kong. In general everything was great I loved the experience, it was one of the best journeys of my life and it taught and left tons of knowledge and skills which is something I am really happy to think about.
