This bilingual high school exchange in Montreal will allow you to attend an English-speaking high school, while living with a welcoming French speaking Canadian host family.

This program is designed for students interested in living in Montreal, a multicultural and beautiful city located in the francophone province of Quebec. International students will have the opportunity to attend a public day-school, like any other student, from Monday to Friday, and then on the weekends, they will be able to join many of the never-ending activities this location has to offer. 

Join our High School Exchange in Montreal and enjoy a bilingual adventure, in the second largest primarily French-speaking city in the world (after Paris).

Highlights of the program:

  • Montreal is the heart of bilingualism in North America: our exchange students will study in this city for a full academic year, in one of the six public English-speaking schools.
  • Students will attend in an English Curriculum School. 
  • Students will be hosted by French speaking host families, giving them the opportunity to improve both languages at the same time.

  • Graduation may be possible during your experience in a High School in Montreal.

    In order to register for our exchange program in Montreal, you must follow the following simple steps: 

    1. You are required to sit for an interview, to evaluate your language level and eligibility. 
    2. You need to complete an online booking form and fill out the application. Once you have your full application ready, you must send it back in digital format. 
    3. Once you have been accepted in the program, Nacel will issue the formal acceptance letter, and based on your profile, we will start working on your placement.
    4. All VISA documents will be sent to you in order to start your VISA process. 
    5. We will assist you to apply for your visa, if necessary.
    6. You determine your travel arrangements and we will organize your arrival.

    Apply at least 5 months before arrival.
    Bilingual High School Exchange in Montreal : Eligibility

    Exchange students must be interviewed in their home country before being accepted in a bilingual program in Montreal (preferably in English and French).
    They are required to have a minimum of two years of studies in English, plus French knowledge, a well as good academic results.
    Exchange students must be secondary school students in their home country, who have not completed more than eleven years of primary and secondary school studies.
