DESCRIPTION :
ELIGIBILITY : 12 to 17 years old.
LENGTH : 2 weeks French summer camp.
DESCRIPTION: The participant can choose between a French summer camp with sports only, and a French summer camp with French languages classes. If he choose the French summer camp with sports only, he will have to choose the sport he wants to focus on between Tennis, Basket Ball and Football (soccer). If he choose the French summer camp with French language classes, he will have French languages courses on morning, and he will be able to do multisports or only one of the sports mentioned above (basketball, tennis or soccer.
LANGUAGE COURSES: On mornings,language classes will be held during 3 hours from monday to friday during the French summer camp. Participants are in little groups of 10 to 15 students. There will be a level language test on arrival, and an individual ckeck at the end of the camp. All of our teacher in the French summer camp are French and have a further diploma that allow you to teach French to foreigners.
ACTIVITIES : During the afternoon at the French summer camp, a large range of outdoor activities is offered: Multisport, or focus on a chosen sport (between Basketball, tennis or soccer). During our French summer camp, there will also be leisure activities organized during week-ends, in accordance with all campers (Volleyball, swimming, town visits...)
LOCATION : Our summer camps in France are in Vichy, a well-known French thermal town, who is also renowned to be the town for sport's practice.
OBJECTIVES : The goal of the French summer camp is to develop participant's knowledge of the local language in an international context. During the French summer camp, participantsshare various sports with young people ofmany countries.
SUMMER CAMP: More than a French summer camp, an ethic: We aim at developing a team spirit, empathy and a fair play attitude among the campers.
LANGUAGE LESSONS : The Frenchsummer camp offers language courses in small classes of 10 to 15 , 2 or 3 levels, to students who have chosen this option. Average of 15 hours language tuition per week. Lessons are delivered by qualified teachers, native speakers of the language taught.
During the French summer camp, emphasis is set on oral language practice though students will also have a full exposure to grammar and written language.
All our summer camps are based on a non smoking policy.
EVENINGS : Social evenings are organized every night during the French summer camp: social games, karaoke, discos, etc.
EXCURSIONS : Excursions will be organized during week-end during the French summer camp to visit town, swimming, party... in accordance with the camper's wishes.
ACCOMMODATION : During the French summer camp, students will be accommodated in differents student's centres, depending of the sport they will have chosen (2 to 6 participants per room) . The meals are provided on a full board basis.
ARRIVALS : Students must arrive on the fixed arrival date at the closest airport indicated for each program.
PROGRAM DATES : These French summer campsare organized during the summer school vacations of the hosting country (July and August).
