This German course for older teens is a fantastic opportunity to learn German! The school is located in the heart of Berlin, on the trendy Kastanienallee, with a 16,000 square meter campus that feels like a beautiful park. Every day during the camp, you get to discover different parts of Berlin, including Museum Island and the historic Berlin Wall. German classes start in the afternoon, and we have exciting sightseeing tours of Berlin scheduled. Get ready for an amazing time!
School & Courses
German courses for older teens at Berlin (16-18 years old) take place right in the heart of Berlin's trendy Prenzlauer Berg neighborhood. It's near many famous Berlin sites, like Museum Island, Brandenburger Tor, New Reichstag, and Hackescher Markt.
- 20 lessons per week, 45 minutes each
- Classes limited to 12 students
- Afternoon lessons 3:00 pm to 6:15 pm
- Courses for all levels Beginners to advanced
- International classes with students from many countries
- Max. 12 students per class
Facilities:
The camp is on a 16,000 sqm campus with:
- 40 classrooms and an on-site student residence
- Huge garden (the size of a park :-)
- Lounge, restaurant, and café
- Volleyball and basketball courts
- Pool table and barbecue area
- 2 activities daily (one activity in the morning, one after class in the evening),
- One full-day excursion per week to locations outside Berlin
- Including meals
Supervision - Low
The school and staff will be there for students, but there is no 24-hour supervision, as this program is designed for mature students. Students will stay in a student residence, either on campus or nearby.

- Afternoon: 4 German lessons
- Evening: Visit to East Side Gallery
Wednesday
- Morning: Literatur-Café (from level B1) or Museum Island visit
- Afternoon: 4 German lessons
- Evening: Beach volleyball and Photography workshop
Thursday
- Morning: Swimming at Lake Wannsee or boat tour
- Afternoon: 4 German lessons
- Evening: Debating club, followed by a visit to a beach bar
Friday
- Morning: Street art workshop
- Afternoon: 4 German lessons
- Evening: Night out in Kreuzberg or Game night
Saturday
- Morning & Afternoon: Full-day excursion (e.g., Potsdam, Castle Sanssouci, or Hamburg)
- Evening: Pub crawl
Sunday
- Morning & Afternoon: Departure or optional excursion within Berlin
Where do I stay?
You will be staying in a student residence, either on campus or within walking distance of the school campus. You will share the studio with 2 to 4 other students from the course, so you will be able to make friends right from the moment you arrive. You will share the studio with international students from Mexico, Poland, Spain, France, Bulgaria, Denmark, Russia, Norway, England, France, Italy, Greece, Portugal, the US and many other countries.
- The apartments on campus are mini-lofts, with the sleeping area on a higher upstairs level (3 - 5 beds per apartment)
- All apartments on campus have en-suite bathrooms with shower
- Accommodation based on half board.

How to get to the camp?
- Transfer from Berlin airports and stations: 90 € one way shared; 150 € for private transfer out of schedule (Sundays 8 am - 10 pm)
- UM (unaccompanied minor) fee: 50 € per way
