The school is located in close proximity to the Alps in the sunniest village of the German Bavaria region. The small town is ideal for students to practice their German accents and get acquainted with German culture in a safe environment. The school welcomes up to 200 students on its campus and is open all year round. From beginners to advanced students, the all-inclusive boarding school concept ensures a constant immersion in the German language. A variety of exciting activities is offered daily after class. The intensive 30-lesson program is for motivated teenagers who want to improve their German significantly while also having fun during the after-school activities. The curriculum has a high learning progression, as it is designed, among other things, for students planning to go to school in Germany, or who would like to noticeably improve their academic performance in German lessons in their home country.

Supervision 

The school guarantees reliable around-the-clock supervision, both during the excursions as well as throughout the whole course. All students are expected to attend all classes, meals and scheduled activities and excursions. Participation in the leisure program and excursions is compulsory for the students.

Language level 

This program is suitable for beginners to advanced students. It is important to know that this is a program for highly motivated students who want to improve their German and are willing to study. But of course, there is also plenty of time to discover the surroundings and have lots of fun with your new friends from all over the world!

Activities

Variety of after-class activities

The German language school offers a variety of recreational opportunities. On campus, there are outdoor playing fields and lawns, a sports court and a gymnasium, a climbing wall, a miniature golf course, a sauna, and an indoor swimming pool. They even have mountain bikes available for you to enjoy the beautiful surroundings!

After class, you can express your artistic side during one of the many workshops or get active during a Zumba or Yoga class. Facilities within the school building also include an auditorium with a stage, a party room, a room for movies, and a large recreation room. On campus, there is a barbecue area and a huge lawn for activities or sunbathing. In the winter, it is even possible to go snow shoe walking or skiing in the nearby mountains!

Everyday activities are organized from sports and games to cultural events. The activity program is included in the program fee. The following leisure activities are offered:

    On weekends excursions are organized to one of the beautiful tourist attractions like Munich, Lindau, Stuttgart, the Alps, lake Constance etc. All activities are supervised and included in the program fee.

    Extra activities

    Skiing and snowboarding

    In winter skiing and snowboard courses are offered from January to February. The courses can be booked for a duration of one week or more. The courses take place on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday in the afternoon after the German lessons. During the courses, the number of German lessons is limited to 26. On Saturday participants will be taken to a big skiing resort in the Alps.

    Accommodation

    Residence

    The school offers twin, triple, and quadruple bedrooms and a few singles (it is not possible to give a preference). All rooms have their own en-suite bathrooms and are equipped with high-quality, modern furniture. Roommates are carefully matched based on their age, gender, and German language level. Students with the same native language will never be placed in the same room, to encourage the students to speak German at all times. 

    Well-balanced, healthy meals are served 3 times a day in a self-service restaurant on campus. Fruit is available for students all day long.

    Laundry service is offered daily to all students free of charge for their personal laundry. Bed linen and towels will be provided and changed regularly.

    Homestay (July and August only!)

    During the summer students can stay with a local German host family. They have breakfast with the host family, but all other meals are taken at the school campus. Most of the host families live within walking distance (10 to 20 minutes) of the school. If the family lives farther away, the school organizes daily transportation to and from school.
