DESCRIPTION :
This program is designed for students interested in improving their Spanish language skills and working in Spanish hotels and restaurants.
Students will improve their Spanish level while taking prior Spanish courses in Salamanca (20 hours/week) during 12 weeks (offered on mornings). The course also includes 8 weeks preparation and orientation course to the job placement (offered on afternoons, on the same period like the course).
The program lasts 6 months at least and is offered all year round (most of the jobs are available during the summer period).
JOB PLACEMENT:
Interview mandatory.
Participants will be eligible for different paid jobs in hotels and restaurants in Spain, depending on their language skills and levels (in some cases, German and English will be highly valued), studies, experience, aptitude and length of stay. The job will be in restaurants or hotels, mainly as a waiter. We guarantee it after the language course and the professional orientation.
Once you finish the preparation course, you can start working immediately while doing your Spanish course.
The Spanish course is in Salamanca, as well as the accommodation services.
Though, it is possible to work in the following cities: Barcelona area, Valencia, Castellon, Alicante, and Madrid.
WORK CONDITIONS:
You will earn between 800 and 1000 Euros for a full time job and between 400 and 500 Euros for a part time one.
The student must work a minimum of 40 to 48 work hours per week and may be expected to work either 5 or 6 days per week.
The timetable and conditions of employment is to be agreed upon at the time of interview between the employer and the employee.

ACCOMMODATION :
Accommodation and board remain the responsibility of the student during the work placement in Spain.
If you require accommodation during the Spanish course, you can choose one out of the 3 following options:
- 12 weeks student flat, single room: 965 EUR
- 12 weeks host family, single room, full board: 2040 EUR
- 12 weeks host family, single room, half boiard: 1860 EUR
LESSONS :
20 courses/week
ELIGIBILITY :
EU students (except Bulgarian and Romanian students), Norway, Iceland, Switzerland.
No visa required for EU students.
Required Spanish level: Intermediate (B1)
Students from the European Union.
DEADLINE :
At least 2 months before arrival in Spain. Late application may be accepted.

Applicants to a paid job in Spain need to have:
