"I enjoyed the experience very much and it was great that everybody at the camp was so friendly & helpful to us. It was a very enjoyable way to learn French. Thank you."
Just when I graduate from school, I started the best experience I had in my entire life for many reasons. I traveled to Lyon for 6 months before going to the university with my best friend. This trip taught me a lot, starting because I learned to live with other people from other cultures completely different from mine. I feel like I matures in many ways, I learned to manage my money independently and the responsibilities of living alone, such as cleaning and cooking. Living without the parents at such an early age opens your eyes a lot and I began to realize that not everything is so easy, one begins to be more careful with personal administrations. When I went to Lyon, I had taken a three-month course in French, but when I realized that I did know anything. At first I thought, I will never manage to have a fluent conversation in this language, but without thinking it after a while I had no problems talking French. In my opinion, going to a country where the language one is learning is spoken is the best technique to begin to master the language, in 6 months I can say that I already speak good French and this is thanks to having lived there. It´s amazing how many friends you make from so many different countries and even though only has lived with them for six months, they are part of one of the most important memories of my life.
