Japanese language camp in Japan: Live at a student residence, take Japanese courses and enjoy the activities offered!
Participants will have the opportunity to enroll in a Language course with Cultural Activities in the city of Fukuoka.
During their stay in Japan, students will receive language courses at our school in Fukuoka. This school has all the modern facilities and a group of qualified professionals in the education field. Every year, students from all across the world join this program, as it offers effective structured Japanese Lessons, as well as cultural activities with a glimpse into the day-to-day Japanese lifestyle. Our Language Courses in Japan run during the summer time and you must apply 5 months prior to your arrival.
The school has 13 classrooms with a capacity of 120 international students, professional and motivated staff, and a large spacious lounge for students to enjoy themselves.
Summer Japanese courses for teens
As a student of our language course (20 lessons per week - beginners welcome), you will have also to attend 3 "Experience classes" each Saturday to discover the tea ceremony, Japanese pottery, manga drawing, cosplay courses, and more! Other activities are arranged daily on weekdays as well.
Extra activities and excursions in Japan are offered at an additional cost.
The camp is also offered from June to august in Tokyo (from 16 years old only) and Kyoto.
Supervision
Classes and activities may be shared with adult students, but will always be supervised by school staff. Students have a curfew at the residence and are expected to be back at the house before 11 PM at the latest. They will travel from and to school with public transport and this is unsupervised.
About Fukuoka
The city of Fukuoka is the largest city in Kyushu, in southwestern Japan. Its offers a moderate climate and due to its cleanliness, safety, and excellent services it is a highly recommended location to study Japanese. The summers are warm, the winters mild and the people friendly. Fukuoka's renowned cuisine and the warmth of its people will make your stay here a pleasure. The city is full of wonderful restaurants, and it is difficult to visit an izakaya (a local restaurant) without making new friends. The city combines traditional and modern Japan and is a great destination for those who want full immersion in the language as there are not so many foreigners there.
School location
The school is centrally located in Fukuoka, a city of 1.5 million people, just a short walk from the largest subway and train station in southern Japan. All necessary amenities, such as banks, post office, stores, restaurants, etc., are located within walking distance of the school. In addition, there is a park and a river nearby. The nearest bathing beach is only 15 minutes away by bus, and there is a beautiful beach and tourist area (Momochi) less than 20 minutes away.
