Our Japanese courses in Japan are open to teens (from 14) and adults, for short-term programs from 2 weeks to 6 months (up to 6 months for visa-waiver nationalities). In your free time, enjoy sightseeing, discover Japanese culture, and meet new friends in one of Japan’s most vibrant cities, ideally located between Tokyo and Osaka.

It’s also a great base to explore the rest of the country: conveniently located between Tokyo and Osaka, you can easily plan weekend trips while enjoying a lively but less overwhelming big-city atmosphere.

Your Japanese course is arranged with a reputable local language school in Nagoya, Japan. The school is known for its student-centered approach and high-quality teaching standards, including international accreditation.

Levels: beginner to intermediate (class placement based on level)

The school offers optional free or paid activities throughout the year (depending on the season and the number of participants). These are a great way to practice Japanese, meet other international students, and discover the city outside the classroom.

Visits to key landmarks in Nagoya
Weekend outings and excursions in the region
Examples of outings can include:
Nagoya Castle, Atsuta Shrine, Toyota Museum, Tokugawa Garden, Osu shopping street, Nagoya Aquarium, Meiji-mura, Inuyama city tour, and traditional town-escape visits.

3 sightseeing outings per week (weekdays and Saturdays)
Maximum 4 weeks per school
If only 1–2 students are booked in a given week, the module may be cancelled (an alternative module is offered at no extra cost, or the fee is refunded)
- Homestay: half board (breakfast and dinner), single room, facilities shared with the family. 40–50 minutes from school on average.
- Shared house / dormitory: single room, no meals, shared facilities with other students/housemates. 30–60 minutes from school on average.
- Private apartment: fully independent accommodation, no meals. 20–60 minutes from school on average.
Note: the minimum stay is 2 weeks. Most accommodation options typically require 4 weeks, so for a 2-week stay, homestay is usually the easiest option.

- Minimum language level: beginner but the only requirement is that students must be able to read the hiragana alphabet before arriving at school.
- VISA: Please arrange your tourist visa, if you need one, by contacting your nearest Japanese embassy. Many countries have a visa waiver arrangement with Japan, allowing you to visit for a certain period (usually, 3 or 6 months) to learn Japanese without any visa at all.

Yes, students must have a working phone number in Japan for emergency contact. The school can help students arrange SIM cards or pocket Wi-Fi.
In general, we can accommodate most diets. However, if your diet is very strict, you may be advised to prepare your own meals. Please let us know about your dietary needs before booking so we can confirm whether we can accept you into the program.
Students will be assigned to a family that best fits their needs and is located closest to the school. You will be asked to fill in a form with detailed questions to find the best matching family for you.
This arrangement will be finalized 3 weeks to 1 month prior to the start of classes.
All students are required to have travel insurance for the duration of their stay. The insurance must cover potential medical expenses as well as property damage liability. If you would like us to arrange travel insurance for you, please indicate this during the booking process.
