What can you expect from this Padel Summer Camp in France?
Nacel's Padel Summer Camp in Vichy is a residential sports program for teenagers who already play padel and want to take their skills further. The camp focuses on technical improvement, match strategy and regular practice in a structured environment. Players train with experienced French coaches and practice alongside French teenagers with similar abilities. Sessions combine individual skill development with teamwork, helping participants gain confidence and become more effective doubles players.
The experience also extends beyond the court. Campers share meals, enjoy evening activities and spend their free time together on campus, making it easy to build friendships with French peers.
Who is this padel camp designed for?
This program welcomes teenagers aged 13–17 who have previous padel experience. Regular practice at a club is recommended because the training schedule is intensive and builds on existing skills. The camp is not suitable for complete beginners. Coaches organize groups by playing level so participants can train at an appropriate pace.
Can international students practice French during the camp?
Yes! Most campers and coaches are French, giving international students opportunities to practice the language naturally throughout their stay.
French is part of everyday communication during sports training, meals and recreational activities. Rather than attending formal language classes, students develop their listening and speaking confidence by interacting with French teenagers in real-life situations.

What does the padel training program include?
The camp provides approximately 30 hours of padel per week, generally divided into two daily training sessions from Monday to Friday.
The coaching program develops four important areas of the game:
Technical skills: Improve forehands, backhands, serves, volleys and specialized padel strokes such as the bandeja and víbora. Players also work on ball trajectories, glass rebounds and defensive lobs.
Tactics and strategy: Learn effective court positioning, doubles formations, partner communication and how to construct points against different opponents.
Mental preparation: Develop concentration, confidence, emotional control and teamwork through practical challenges.
Competition practice: Apply new skills during doubles matches, internal tournaments and team challenges.
With approximately one padel coach for every seven campers, coaches can adapt exercises to the group's abilities and provide guidance throughout training.
What happens outside padel training?
After training, campers have opportunities to relax, socialize and participate in supervised evening activities. These may include group games, contests, team competitions and other recreational entertainment organized according to the participants' ages, interests and weather conditions.
For students staying two weeks, the program also includes a group outing to Le PAL amusement and wildlife park, offering a change of pace from the training routine.
