French immersion in Paris for teenagers and adults

Adults

Adults choose this program when they want focused French lessons without giving up the opportunity to experience local life.

It can work particularly well if you want to improve your general French, prepare for professional situations, develop specialized vocabulary or work toward an academic or language goal.

Teenagers

Parents may choose this program when they want their child to have a more personalized French immersion experience rather than a large group course.

Teenagers receive individual lessons and spend their time in a French-speaking home environment. For younger participants, additional supervision and activities can be arranged according to age and program requirements.

Closer Supervision (<18 years old)

Is teacher’s home tuition suitable for my child or my teen? 

Sure. We ensure that your child is welcomed by a teacher who will take great care of him, his safety and welfare. The teacher will also adapt the language course to the skills and specific needs of a child. 

We offer a close supervision option for children traveling alone.The course is designed for younger students and meets their needs. The home stay will be in a friendly and caring family and guarantees the presence of an adult member of the family at all times (extra cost). This option is available for students under 18 and is compulsory for students aged 12 or under. 

Special Needs: please inquire after the availability for adults and children with special needs.

TIP! Our tips for a child or a teen: This language learning program has been quite intense, we do not advise you to book it for more than 2-3 weeks. Students under 18 must book General Activities or Cultural Visits in addition to their private lessons.  Consult us to learn more about all extra curricular options!

Experience Paris through French

Your time in Paris is not limited to lesson hours. Depending on your chosen options, you can practice French while cooking, making a crepe, baking a croissant, shopping, visiting a local market, sightseeing, bowling, walking on avenue Champs-Élysée, attending a sports event or going to the cinema.

These activities give you additional opportunities to use French naturally and talk with your host teacher about what you are seeing and doing.

For participants choosing a lighter lesson schedule, activities and cultural visits can be an important part of creating a fuller immersion experience.

Paris offers a wide range of cultural experiences to complement your French lessons. Depending on your interests, your host teacher and availability, cultural visits may include:

Cultural visits are accompanied and are designed to give you another setting in which to practice French while discovering the city.

Optional excursions from Paris can also be arranged, including visits to the Château de Versailles or a theme park trip from Paris, depending on availability.

Activities and cultural visits are arranged between you and your host teacher and depend on availability and location.

Accommodation

The accommodation is part of the language experience. You will live in your own private teacher's home, on full board accommodation.

All meals will be included. This is a total linguistic, cultural and social immersion with native speakers. You eat, sleep and learn at your teachers home. 

Hosts can vary from two adults and one or more children, to one-parent hosts, couples without children or with older children who have left home, hosts who live alone.

We will do our best to find you the perfect match and present you with the best options.

  • This program is quite flexible: 
  • Available all year round offered in many different destinations and many countries. 
  • The program is tailor made: you choose when you start and how long you stay! Usually, students should arrive on a Sunday and depart on a Saturday.

  • 20% discount on activities quote, meaning they do the same activities and share transport and guide together.
