- Minimum language level: beginner but the only requirement is that students must be able to read the hiragana alphabet before arriving at school.
- VISA: Please arrange your tourist visa, if you need one, by contacting your nearest Japanese embassy. Many countries have a visa waiver arrangement with Japan, allowing you to visit for a certain period (usually, 3 or 6 months) to learn Japanese without any visa at all.

In general, we can accommodate most diets. However, if your diet is very strict, you may be advised to prepare your own meals. Please let us know about your dietary needs before booking so we can confirm whether we can accept you into the program.
Students will be assigned to a family that best fits their needs and is located closest to the school. You will be asked to fill in a form with detailed questions to find the best matching family for you.
This arrangement will be finalized 3 weeks to 1 month prior to the start of classes.
All students are required to have travel insurance for the duration of their stay. The insurance must cover potential medical expenses as well as property damage liability. If you would like us to arrange travel insurance for you, please indicate this during the booking process.
