Our English school in Edinburgh is located on Queen Street in the city centre, only minutes away from world-class galleries, theatres and museums.

Facilities: well-equipped self-study area and library; newly-installed science laboratory; spacious art room; common room and outside terrace area; free access to email/internet and self-study area.

Learn English in Edinburgh! Our English school was set up in 1929 and is a prestigious and well known school thanks to it international fame and the excellent quality of its classes. The language school is located in the heart of Edinburgh, about 10 minutes from the main railway station. There is a friendly, cosmopolitan atmosphere where both British and international students can feel at home.

COURSE
Type of course:  General English: from 1 to 4 weeks.  
Course content: oral and written comprehension, grammar structures, vocabulary, oral and written expression.
Course duration: 45 minutes
Test on arrival: yes
Number of students per class: 10 students maximum from different nationalities.
Number of lessons /week: The student can choose between two formulas: 20 hours or 26 hours per week.
Course material: included
A certificate is given at the end of the classes.

ACCOMMODATION :

- Host Family: single room, half board (breakfast and dinner everyday).
- University residence (from 06/30 to 08/29); superior accommodation with single room, private bathroom, breakfast and dinner everyday. The residence is 15 minutes bus ride from the college. All accommodation is booked from the Sunday before the course begins until the Saturday morning after the course finishes (1 week = 6 nights).

ACTIVITIES :

Learn English and have fun in Edinburgh! The language school offers a wide variety of optional activities. Students are responsible for any fees related to these optional activities.

Nearest airport: Edinburgh International Airport is located at only 16 km from the towncenter and provides travels in 85 different countries, including Europe, but also, the US, Egypt, Turkey, Tunisia…
Regular bus services run from Edinburgh Airport to the city centre (≈ 35 minutes; ≈ £3 for an adult single journey and £5 for an adult open return).

Transfer possibilities: pick-up at the airport and assistance until the place of living and/or walk-home programme at the end of the stay.
