London used to be the world's largest metropolis and it's still a huge place if it's your first visit. London is the capital and largest urban area of England and the United Kingdom. It’s a perfect binding of the past and the present, a city with so many places to visit that one couldn't find the time to view them all! The Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace and on Horse Guards Parade, as well as the Buckingham Palace itself are must-see sights. Take a look at the Houses of Parliament and the famous clock tower that houses Big Ben. Other must-see London sights include the London Bridge and nearby Tower of London, the British Museum, the Princess of Diana's memorial and Madame Tussaud. Of course, you have to ride on the London Eye. London has also some of the finest parks in the world.
Examples of your afternoon activities (1.45 to 5.15pm):
- Ride the London Eye Sightseeing: Big Ben, Houses of Parliament and Southbank
- Visit Camden Town Primrose Hill
Don't miss our weekend excursions as well (optional)!

This Summer Programme is great! I can’t believe how much I have learnt in such a short time! My favourite lesson was at the Bank of England, as it was so interesting. I also loved seeing the Royal Family at Madame Tussauds. I stayed with a host family who were so friendly and helpful. I feel really happy. Kanami, Office Manager – Japan

This summer course enabled me to meet and speak English with many people, which really improved my confidence. It’s a very practical course, and I learnt a lot of new vocabulary and grammatical structures; not only in the classroom, but also outside the classroom visiting London. I got to visit the famous sights of London, learn about the history of the city, and practise my English. I was able to see London from a different perspective! It has been great fun, I really enjoyed it! Maria, Primary School Teacher – Spain
London is a great place to study. We had lots of activities to do outside; in museums, markets, and famous locations, and I’ve learnt so many new words and phrases. This course made learning English fun! Said, Businessman – Jordan
