High School Abroad, Summer Camps and Adult Programs

My homestay and high school exchange to France for a month was one of the best things I have ever decided to do. It was such an incredible adventure that I will remember for the rest of my life. Nacel ensured that it was safe, easy, and super fun. Signing up for the program was super simple, the staff was lovely and they would always respond to emails fast. They made traveling easy and stress-free, checked up on me regularly, and chose the perfect place for my exchange. I couldn't have asked for a better host family, they were so amazing. I not only improved my French language immensely but I built so many friendships and learned so much about French culture. If you are thinking of doing an exchange I definitely recommend Nacel!

I’ve recently come back after completing a 4 month High School Exchange to Chile. I had the experience of a lifetime. As I am British it took me a while to find a company that accepts British students, as exchanges aren’t as popular here. After I found Nacel I couldn’t wait to go on exchange and their support was amazing. I also was given the opportunity to visit Easter Island on my exchange. It was such an eye-opening experience and throughout the whole 4 months I had a great time: I wish I could have stayed longer. If you are thinking about an exchange I would 100% recommend that you go for it. You won’t regret your decision and you’ll have such a great experience. I’ve returned home with lifelong friends, the experience of a lifetime and being speak to speak another language. ¡Gracias!

My experience at the High school program in Chile was great! My family was very loving and made me feel like I was part of the family. At school, it was great because everyone was curious about me and I got to make lots of friends. That is where my Spanish really improved.
Although it was a short stay, I felt like I got to know Chilean culture and history very well. My host family took me to explore different parts of Santiago, see the biggest skyscraper in South America, visit local museums and government buildings. I was amazed to see how similar our cultures are, and how easy it is to adapt to living there.
The Nacel staff was supportive every step of the way. The process went smoothly and I felt accompanied every step of the way.

I went to Asturias, Spain for my junior year of school in 2023/2024. There are very few negative things that I can think to say about my trip. I loved my host parents (Marioli and Jose) and my host sisters. Everyone from my family to the students in my institution were supportive, helpful, kind, and extremely patient and understanding when it came to learning Spanish. Some of my favorite memories of Spain are buying pounds upon pounds of strawberries with my host sister who I now consider my very best friend, and eating them at the beach. Another favorite is coming home from school every day and eating lunch and talking for hours on end with my host mother and host sister. Every single experience that I had there I cherished, even when school was hard or when I struggled with the language. My support system was large, and no matter what I was having a hard time with, my host parents, teachers, and the Nacel staff were always more than happy to help me right away. I cannot say enough good things about this program and Spain, and I recommend it to anyone considering going abroad.

The school was helpful in teaching keigo and honorifics. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. I met many students who were interested in touring local towns and having adventures. The weekend trips were very fun and well organized with a lot of activities planned. The host family was very nice and helped a lot with learning Japanese culture and also just practicing the language in general. Speaking only in Japanese in the house really made me feel fully immersed in Japan while I was there.

One of the nice things of attempting to speak a foreign language is that you always have an excuse should you find yourself unable today what you wish to. Alas, I now write in my mother tongue but still find myself unable to express my sincere thanks. Families that were once surrogate become incredibly close, friends at school that were once stop-gap measures to avoid boredom become treasured companions. An unfamiliar landscape becomes a much loved scene. To conclude then, it may be cliché, but I am left with no other option than to, in no uncertain terms, absolutely endorse.

An unforgettable experience that will stay with me for life. 8 weeks was a good amount to do this for. After all this time I can say that it has greatly increased my ability to understand. It has also provided more details about Frace and in particular the Piccardy region. Amiens is a wonderful city with the cathedral being perhaps one of the best cathedrals I have ever seen. Ultimately, I would recommend this to any student whether they know a little or a lot of French as the experience is unique and very fun. I loved the High school and Homestay in France experience!

Everything's fine. Thanks for asking. At first, I have noticed a great change in the method of work. I already knew that doing an international baccalaureate would have nothing to do with doing a normal baccalaureate. But, as I was accustomed to another method of work. I was a little surprised by the level of this school in Montreal. But that's what I and my parents were looking for. And I know that this is going to be very useful for me to study at the university. I must say that I am very happy in general with the classes and for the support I feel from the teachers and my host family. They are 100% amazing!

My Son is 14, had been fencing for 3 years and thoroughly enjoyed the week. With only 2 years of French at school, the immersion was hard, but great for him. The Fencing instructor was wonderful; My son found his coaching really good. He said the food was nice and we were very enthusiastic about the phone policy.

I had a wonderful time in Italy with the Summer homestay in Italy this summer thanks to Nacel. I was offered constant support by Nacel and by my very kind local coordinator, and the host family they chose for me were awesome! I really appreciate their ability to partner with good programs in the country you’re going to be staying in. They answered any and all questions I had beforehand, ensuring communication was very smooth. While that was wonderful, the most impactful thing of all was the inspiration that this trip gave me. I was out of my comfort zone a lot, but in the end, it was definitely good for me. I got to go to so many new places, met so many new and unique people, and was learning new things everyday. I’ve always been indecisive about what I wanted to be when I grew up- I’ve had ideas, but have never stuck to one. This trip really inspired me to look into joining the Peacecorp and possibly becoming a court translator in the future. I’ve also started exploring more languages and want to pursue linguistics as a cognitive science at University! I think it’s a very special thing to be able to branch out into new cultures and help those people in them, so thank you, Nacel, for giving me this opportunity to find my passion!

I’m also still motivated to continue learning Italian- I hope to one day be fluent and return to see my host family and friends!

She loved everything about the campus, the teachers, the girls at the school and specially all the friends she has made during the week she spent in Paris. Last day she was very sad in tears because ahe wanted to stay longer.

Wonderful French camp in a lovely part of Paris. Very international. Super organisation pre departure and during the stay. The ability to have a pick up service for unaccompanied minors works very well: highly recommended. May send our younger son in 2 years.

My experience in France was amazing! I traveled through Nacel to Lisle-Sur-Tarn , a small town in the south of France, and lived there for 1 month. My Host family was great, and I felt like I was at home. I got to attend school for two weeks, and also traveled to nearby towns like Toulouse with my family.
During this month, I was able to experience French culture, tried new food like escargot and foie gras, and significantly improved my French level.
The process with Nacel was very quick and very straightforward. My advisor provided all the information I needed, and I felt informed and accompanied at every step of the process.
I would definitely recommend Nacel to other students who are interested in an exchange program, especially if they are interested in France.

This was the very first time that I try Nacel to arrange a 14 day football camp in France for my son. Before the trip, the staff were very helpful and gave prompt reply to all the questions. Because my son traveled alone, it was very important for prompt and timely arrangement from the agent. It was really impressed for the arrangement from Hong Kong to Paris with everything on time and smooth

Staff are caring and helpful. My son enjoyed the camp a lot, especially with the teammates and the French learning environment. He said that for the first few days, he couldn’t catch up a word there even though he has studied French in Hong Kong for 10 years. But after 3 to 4 days, he got used to the language environment and communicating very well with the kids and the leaders.

The camp was not just focused on football, but there were other extracurricular activities like tree climbing and colour run and swimming which were fun

One suggestion, I highly recommend the school to hire a professional photographer so they can capture all the memories nicely

Overall, this Volleyball summer camp in France was a really fun experience for my 17 year old; I highly recommend this camp!

Nacel was really accommodating of our travel schedule--they were accessible and flexible and communicative. The kids were all great; my son made lots of friends. There was a full schedule -- there was almost always something fun to do. The volleyball coaching was good. There was enough French spoken to pick up new vocab and fluency.

We had a wonderful experience, sending our son to Japan with Nacel. He stayed with a host family for 8 days and had a fantastic time. On first contact, we were able to meet with a very helpful Nacel representative who walked us through how their different exchange and home stay programs work. They supported us through the application process for a stay with a private teacher. They found a family and helped us get in touch with them before the travel. The private teacher in Japan was an experienced home stay host and went above and beyond, communicating the planning beforehand and creating an excellent program for the stay. We had no prior experience or no reference to Nacel, but we had a very good experience and plan to work with them again for future language learning exchange programs.

Our 15-year-old daughter spent ten weeks in Canada with Nacel, and it was truly an exciting and enriching experience for her and for us as parents. From the very beginning, we felt well supported by Nacel. We received a lot of detailed and helpful information before the trip, both from the exchange organization and the school.

Throughout the entire stay, Nacel accompanied us perfectly. I especially appreciated the monthly reports in which both our daughter and the host family shared short updates about how things were going. You could really feel that they got along very well and that our daughter had settled in nicely.

On the day of departure, there was always someone available to answer any questions, which gave us a great sense of reassurance. During the whole process, we always felt that we could reach out at any time and that our questions were taken seriously and answered quickly.

Nacel chose a wonderful host family and an excellent school for our daughter. Overall, we are extremely satisfied with the program and the great support we received from start to finish.

I am the mother of Adrienne. All went well with her time in France. Nacel was an excellent support. Her host family was perfect - kind, warm and supportive - Adrienne remains in contact with them and will see them this summer again. Her school was great! the teachers were kind and supportive. The only problem was that Adrienne was homesick. But that is her nature and she worked hard to deal with this. Thank you so much for all you have done.
