GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Our English school in San Francisco is located between Nob and Russian Hills in the Polk Street business area. It is very close to cable car and Union Square, which are very famous.
Date of creation: 1992
Facilities: 14 fully-equipped classrooms, a self-study area including listening, TV, VCR facilities and a library, a wireless internet access, a computer laboratory, an atrium-style student lounge.

HIGHLIGHTS
Our English school in San Francisco is a unique, 2010 refurbished stand-alone building. It is located in an area famous for its restaurants, shops, cinemas and local entertainment. The language school is within walking distance of hotels and residences and close to all public transport. This English school benefits from a real international atmosphere.

COURSE
Type of course: General English and TOEFL/Business English preparation classes.
Course level: From false beginner to advanced
Course content: oral and written expression, conversation and phonetics, grammar and vocabulary (for both programs).
General English: 20 or 28 courses/week
TOEFL preparation: 20 courses +8 optional courses (English +, Business English, Communication English); intermediate English level required.
Business English: 20 general courses + 8 Business English courses; intermediate English level required.
Class duration: 50 minutes

LOCATION
San Francisco is located on the west coast of the U.S. at the tip of the San Francisco Peninsula and includes significant stretches of the Pacific Ocean and San Francisco Bay within its boundaries. San Francisco is one of the most beautiful locations in the United States, with its steep hills and views across the bay. It's a wonderful city to see by foot or by cable car, offering a cosmopolitan lifestyle with a leisurely pace.

The city can be divided up into several neighbourhoods, the names of which may already be familiar. Pacific Heights, Nob Hill, Haight-Ashbury and Little Italy have all featured in many films and TV programs. Each area has its own attractions, from famous sights to architectural gems to shops and boutiques. A fully integrated public transport system makes it very easy to get around.

San Francisco is a popular international tourist destination renowned for its steep rolling hills, an eclectic mix of Victorian and modern architecture, and famous landmarks, including the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz Island, the cable cars, Coit Tower, and Chinatown. The city is also known for its diverse, cosmopolitan population, including large and long-established Asian American and LGBT communities. LEISURE ACTIVITIES
Our English school in San Francisco arranges after school and weekend excursions. It offers a variety of cultural and social activities each month. Students are responsible for any fees related to these optional activities.

ACCOMMODATION :

Host family: double room; half board. Due to the big size of San Francisco, the host families live about an hour by bus from the school.
Residence: (18+) double bedroom; half board during the week days and a brunch during weekends. towels and sheets provided. Each room has a telephone and a wireless internet connection. Shared bathroom (1-4 persons); a 24-Hours reception area; a cleaning service on a daily basis for the shared room and on a weekly basis for the bedrooms. TV room, game room, laundry, Internet access (with supplement). Deposit of 20 USD. Limited places.
It is located at around 25 minutes walking from the school.
