Our English school is very centrally situated, in the heart of Fort Lauderdale city.
Date of creation: 1990
Facilities: Ten fully equipped classrooms, and multimedia computer and listening laboratories; wireless internet access; a study room with access to videos, TV/VCR, and tape players; a comfortable student lounge equipped with a microwave, a mini-refrigerator, ping pong and foosball tables.
Size of the school: small (maximum capacity of 150 students).
Facilities for disabled students: yes (all rooms and facilities are accessible by wheelchair users).

HIGHLIGHTS
Our English school in Fort Lauderdale is ideally located in the heart of town on exclusive Las Olas Boulevard. It occupies the entire sixth floor. As it is located in the downtown, you will find shops, outdoor cafes, jazz and night-clubs, museums and performing arts, parks and beautiful waterways at the doorstep. The building is air conditioned and beautiful but rather small. The language school offers very modern equipment and facilities for each student.

Teachers are qualified and mature with years of teaching experience and/or experience working with international students.
Accreditation: ACCET (Accrediting Council for Continuing Education and Training); the University of Cambridge Testing Center, American Association of Intensive English Programs and the TOEIC Testing Center.

ACCOMMODATION :

- Host family: double room; half board. The families live in 45 minutes from the school by bicycle or bus.
- Residence (18+): air conditioned; no board (towels and sheets provided); private bathroom. The residence is located at around 15 minutes from the school by bus and at 300 meters from the beach! Each bedroom is equipped with a kitchen, a telephone (only for incoming calls). There is a swimming pool; beach towel not provided.
Please note that such residences are very in demand, you should book a room ASAP. If the initially selected residence is not yet available at the moment of your enrolment, another similar residence will be offered. You will be given a full description of it and advised of any eventual extra charge.

ACTIVITIES :

Our English school in Fort Lauderdale arranges extra-curricular social programs and excursions (Orlando, Disney World, the Florida Keys…). Sports enthusiasts can enjoy a full range, including sailing, windsurfing and jet skiing, golf and tennis. Students are responsible for any fees related to these optional activities.

Nearest airport:  Fort Lauderdale Airport / FLL (www.fll.net), situated at 5 km from the South of Fort Lauderdale, Miami International Airport  (www.miami-airport.com), situated at around 50 km south of Fort Lauderdale.

Nearest train station: Tri-Rail station in Dania Beach, Broward County, Florida, located just west of Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport.
Taxi: $4.50 for first mile and then $2.50 per additional mile; transfer from Miami Airport to Fort Lauderdale (≈$66).

Transfer possibilities: pick-up at your arrival and assistance until your place of living and/or transfer return at the end of your stay; from 8am to 10pm; 52 EUR (84 EURfor a return transfer) from the FLL or 84 EUR (144 EUR for a return transfer) from the Miami Airport. Shuttles from Miami International Airport can bring you to Fort Lauderdale downtown for $40.
