GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Our Arabic school in Tetouan is ideally located in the center of downtown Tetouan, declared a World Cultural Heritage City by UNESCO in 1997. The city of Tetouan is less than an hour by ferry from the Spanish coast and has an extremely pleasant weather.

COURSE
Type of course: Modern Literal Arabic 
Exam preparation: All sorts of exam preparations. For further information, please contact us.
Number of lesson/week: 20 hours/week (From Monday to Friday; 9 am-1pm or 2:30-6:30 pm).
Course duration: 55 minutes/class
Course content: The fundamental aspects of the modern Arabic language are studied: oral and written comprehension and expression.
Test on arrival: yes
Number of students per class: 8 students maximum from different nationality.
Course material: included
A certificate will be offered at the end of the stay.

LOCATION
Tetouan is a large town situated in northern Morocco. Located close to emerging property development hotspots and new international airport facilities, Tetouan is set to continue to thrive in this new environment. Tetouan is slightly inland from the Mediterranean Sea, just 40km east of Tangiers, on the northern most tip of Morocco.

With a population of just over 320,000, Tetouan is a beautiful town largely due to the dramatic mountains in the south and west of the valley from which Tetouan rises. The nearest airport is Tangiers but from March Tetouan will have its own airport at Oujda. Tetouan boasts 320 days of sunshine a year with average temperatures of 35°C in summer and 22°C in winter. The fully equipped marina has luxurious 5 and 6 star hotels, along with amazing restaurants, clubs, pavement cafes, markets, snake charmers and night life.

Tetouan has many monuments including a fort and several mosques, fountains and the Khalifa's old 17th century palace but restored and renovated in 1948. There are also two museums, a college of fine arts and a school of Moroccan art. Most sports can be found in the surrounding areas including skiing, winter sports and hunting in the Atlas Mountains. - Hotel: single room; breakfast included; new hotel, satellite TV, two minutes away from the school. For long stays, shared flat can be available (no board).

ACTIVITIES :

Our Arabic school in Morocco offers cultural activities and excursions thus giving you every opportunity to experience Moroccan culture, complementing the language you are learning (theatre, linguistic trips to foreign countries …) Students are responsible for any fees related to these optional activities.

VISA : A valid passport is compulsory for the whole stay. Visa is not necessary for the European Union members (until 3 months).

Ferry: Trains in Morocco are very comfortable and fairly inexpensive. They cover a limited network of routes, but travel between all the major cities so they are easily the best option. They are reliable, comfortable, fast and efficient.
Nearest port: Tangier port; Ceuta port.
Bus: Buses are usually cheaper than the shared taxis and they do more regular routes. Shared taxis will bring you to your destination much faster, but the buses are far more comfortable and safer.

Transfer possibilities: Assistance at the airport or at the port at the end of the stay (Cost/way: 40 EUR until Tangier airport or port; 40 EUR until Ceuta port).

Cost of living is reasonable and substantially cheaper in comparison to Europe.
