This English course in Dublin is a combination of English courses in Dublin, homestay in Dublin, activities in Dublin and its area.

ONLY AVAILABLE FOR GROUPS OF 4 STUDENTS MINIMUM TRAVELLING TOGETHER

During this English courses in Dublin program, the student, accommodated by an Irish family in Dublin's area,  will have English lessons with a tutor, in a small group of 4 or 5 (maximum) students, whose English level is almost the same, on mornings, and will participate to activities during the afternoon in Dublin and its area. During the English courses in Dublin, English courses focus on communication, and the immersion of the student is total since he/she will participate in English to the activities.

Irish tutors are carefully selected by our local organizers, and are chosen for their skills in teaching English as a foreign language, for their willingness and enthusiasm to share their home culture with young foreign people. Each tutor will conduct the program for the group he/she handles during the English courses in Dublin program. Thus, students who «belong» to different tutors may not have the same program.

During the weekdays (from Monday to Friday – except when there is a bank holiday) of the English courses in Dublin program, the tutor will stay all the day with the students he/she is responsible for. Generally speaking, during the english courses in Ireland, mornings are devoted to English lessons at the tutor’s home or very nearby, the afternoons will allow students to discover the area and the Irish culture through visits, excursions and activities, and use the skills they are learning. Full day excursions are also planned during this English courses in Dublin.

Every evening, and during the weekends of the English courses in Dublin, the student will be hosted by a Irish host family who is interested in having contacts and making friends with a student from abroad. Irish host families welcome the student as part of their family during this English courses in Ireland.

ENGLISH LANGUAGE COURSES
Participants of the English courses in Ireland meet with their tutor (in the tutor's home or in a nearby facility) Monday through Friday. Mornings English classes are held (24 hours tuition in total), 5 days a week. English classes focus on pronunciation, comprehension and grammatical structures. Tutor and students have lunch together and then spend afternoons on field trips and activities during the English courses in Ireland.

Irish tutors are chosen for their competence in teaching English, for their good relationship with young people and their enthusiasm for sharing their culture. During the English courses in Ireland program, they follow a curriculum outline provided by Nacel and are encouraged to be creative in adapting English language course to the needs of their individual student's language levels.

ELIGIBILITY :

A basic knowledge (one year study) of English is required to be able to participate in the English language courses in Dublin program.
