Types of programs available:
1) Intensive Language Camp : Tutorials (1 teacher for 4 or 5 students): Our intensive language camps are programs that combine high quality intensive language courses and leisure activities. The student will have language lessons with a tutor and he will be part of a group of 4 or 5 students, whose level is similar. Mornings are devoted to lessons at the tutor’s home or very nearby, the afternoons will allow students to discover the area and the culture through visits in the host country. Accommodation is provided by a local host family.
2) Language courses and activities - Homestay : This program combines the everyday experience of living in a local family, sharing their daily activities and discovering their way of life, with a language course on mornings and a complete program of activities and excursions on afternoons. The language course will take place in a language school. This program is suitable for teenagers needing a more structured program than the pure homestay experience.
3) Language courses and activities - Residence : Our camp combines language courses and a program of activities and visits. Students are hosted in a local residence with welcoming facilities, laundry facilities full board. Students will have language course on mornings and a complete program of activities and excursions on afternoons The language course will take place in a language school. The program is international, welcoming students from all over the world.
DESTINATIONS: The group English tutoring sessions are available in Canada, Malta, UK, USA and Ireland. Group Spanish tutoring sessions are available in Spain. The English language courses and activities are available in Ireland and the UK. The French language courses are available in France and the German language courses are held in Germany.
STRUCTURE: Language classes are held in the morning and afternoons are devoted to excursions and activities. A weekly full-day activity may complete the language course program. A typical day in a group tutpring session or language course is: 3 hours or more devoted to language classes, then group lunches under the tutor’s supervision and 2 1/2 hours or more for afternoon fieldtrips, excursions and guided visits.
ACCOMMODATION: In both programs, students are hosted by local families, with whom they spend evenings and weekends; or in a residence. Participants often use the Language Courses as a stepping-stone before resuming High School. It is an excellent way to brush up on their language before going to school. All host families and residences provide full room and board.
LENGTH: 2, 3 or 4 weeks language courses in England, Ireland, Malta, Germany, Spain, France, Canada, and the USA.
ELIGIBILITY: 13 to 17 years old (depending on the country).
