International students have the unique opportunity to be welcomed by a volunteer Italian host family eager to share its culture and language with an overseas student. Italian families expect communication: speaking, discussing, sharing time and activities with the family members will be your main activity and you will no doubt improve your Italian skills very quickly!
- The summer homestay immersion in Italy is available in July. You will live with an Italian family and share their everyday life. This program is only available to English native speakers.
- The homestay and school immersion program in Italy is open to all students during school times; students may start their immersion program in Italy in September or in January. You have the unique chance to attend a local school and meet Italian classmates!

Nacel offers you to study Italian while living at your Italian teacher's home. You will be welcomed by an Italian teacher and his/her family and share their everyday life for a few weeks. Thanks to personalized one-on-one Italian lessons, your teacher will teach you the Italian language at your rhythm!
The teacher can adapt his lessons to your Italian level and needs, making the one-to-one Italian classes at the teacher's home a very efficient way to improve language skills. You will also discover the Italian culture from the inside while you share the daily life of your host family. The teacher may also arrange touristic visits as well as cultural activities when you will further learn and practice what you have learned in your Italian lessons.
