ABOUT OUR SPORTS SUMMER CAMPS IN FRANCE
All our french summer sports camps in France are developed and organised by a professional team from our sports branch: SPORTS ELITE JEUNES. For each of these french summer sports camps, the sport practices are lead by qualified monitors, who guide the “campers” all day and night long. Students must show that they are mature enough to participate in a multinational summer camp, to share everyday life, and that they really like to discover and practise any sports. All our sports camps are non-smoking.

LANGUAGE DURING THE FRENCH MULTISPORTS SUMMER CAMP
Participants of the french multisports summer camp + french courses in France are mainly French, monitors are French, and foreign students will no doubt profit from this French sports camp to improve their French skills, as they will be surrounded by French people, 24 hours a day. French is the used language during all activities: sports, leisure time, etc.....

LOCATION OF THE FRENCH MULTISPORTS SUMMER CAMP + FRENCH COURSES IN FRANCE
The  Multisports summer camps + French courses in France are organized in Vichy. Vichy is a very famous town, renowned for its mineral water and to be the town for sports. We run camps on 5 campuses in the town, since 1979. Students are accommodated in students' centres (from 1 to 6 beds/room) with shared facilities near the rooms. Students will be spread on different residences depending on the elected sports camp.
The participant can choose between 2 types of French summer camps:
- summer camps in France with Sports only
- summer camps in France + French courses. The multisport summer camp program is only available with French courses.

SPORTS ONLY
During their sports summer camp in France, participants may choose to focus on sports only and select the sport that he/she wants to practise intensively during the French summer camp: football (soccer), tennis or basketball. The elected sport will be practiced from 4 to 5 hours a day: theory, training, games etc.

MULTISPORTS SUMMER CAMPS + FRENCH COURSES IN FRANCE
Students may take advantage of their stay in France to improve their French knowledge by taking French lessons on mornings and practicing different sports on afternoons : athletics, basketball, badminton, boxing, rafting, climbing,  soccer, rollerblade, tennis, ping pong, ultimate, volleyball...
 
French language and sports creates a great balance for an interesting and fun stay in France. During the multi sports summer camp in France, French courses are given by teachers specialized in teaching French as a foreign language, and have effective teaching methods. The « campers » are given 15 hours French courses per week (3 hours in the morning, from Monday to Friday) in groups of about 15 students.

Groups are defined according to the French level (test on arrival) and the age of the participants. They emphasise the language courses on vocabulary, grammar, language laboratory, video, communication, always involving the participation of the students.

ACCOMMODATION :

During the sport summer camp in France, students are accommodated in students’ centres (from 1 to 6 beds / room) with shared facilities near the rooms. Students will be spread on different residences depending on the elected camp.
The accommodation is on a full-board basis.
«Campers» are hosted in a residence, in dormitories, all nationalities sharing the same residence.

LESSONS :

15 hours/week

ELIGIBILITY :

-A minimum of one to two year of French language study (in order to cope with the whole group) is required in order to be able to participate to this multi sports summer camp program + French courses in France
-Participants must be between 13 and 17 years old.
Students must show that they are mature enough to participate in a multinational sport summer camp program, to share everyday life, and that they really like to discover and practise any sports. In order to adapt and cope with the group mainly composed with French students and monitors, the participant needs to have at least one year of French.
All our sports summer camps are non-smoking.

DEADLINE :

Please apply at least 2 months before departure to the sport summer camp + french courses program in France. Late applications may be accepted.

CONDITIONS - FRENCH SPORTS CAMP IN FRANCE + FRENCH COURSES :

PRICE INCLUDES :

-Administration fees
-Full board accommodation in shared rooms (dormitory)
-30 hours French lessons (3 hours on weekday mornings)
-Sport activities carefully supervised and lead by certified monitors on afternoons
-Access to all sports equipment of the campus
-Social activities during the weekend and on evenings
-Individual transfer from a Paris airport to the Paris train station and back
-Group transfer from a Paris train station to the Vichy campus by train, with French chaperones, and back
-Support, assistance and 24 hours emergency phone number during the whole program

PRICE DOES NOT INCLUDE :

-40 euros application fees
-International airfare
-International Travel insurance
-Visa, passport and medical exam fees
-Personal expenses and pocket money
-Hotel accommodation and board in Paris (if needed due to arrival in Paris on the day before departure to the campus and/or due to departure from Paris on the day after return from the campus)
-Medical and Emergency repatriation insurance (may be provided by Nacel for an extra cost)
