ABOUT OUR SPORT SUMMER CAMPS IN FRANCE
All our summer sports camps in France are developed and organized by a professional team from our sports branch: SPORTS ELITE JEUNES. For each of these sports camps, the sport practices are lead by qualified monitors, who guide the “campers” all day and night long. Students must show that they are mature enough to participate in a multinational summer camp, to share everyday life, and that they really like to discover and practice any sports. All our sports camps are non-smoking.

LANGUAGE DURING THE TENNIS SUMMER CAMP IN FRANCE
Participants are mainly French, monitors are French, and foreign students will no doubt profit from this French tennis summer camp in France to improve their French skills, as they will be surrounded by French people, 24 hours a day. French is the used language during all activities: sports, leisure time, etc.....

LOCATION OF THE SUMMER TENNIS CAMP IN FRANCE
The tennis summer camp in France is organized in Vichy. Vichy is a very famous town, renowned for its mineral water and to be the town for sports. We run camps on 5 campuses in the town, since 1979. Students are accommodated in students' centres (from 1 to 6 beds/room) with shared facilities near the rooms. Students will be spread on different residences depending on the elected sports camp.
The participant should choose between 2 types of French summer camps:
- Tennis only
- Tennis and French  courses

SPORTS ONLY
Participants may choose to focus on sports only if they want to practice intensively tennis during their tennis summer camp in France. The elected sport will be practiced from 4 to 5 hours a day: theory, training, games etc. On weekends, excursions or others activities can be organized according to the participants' interests.

ACCOMMODATION :

During the tennis summer camp in France, students are accommodated in students’ centres (from 1 to 6 beds / room) with shared facilities near the rooms. Students will be spread on different residences depending on the elected camp.
The accommodation is on a full-board basis.
«Campers» are hosted in a residence, in dormitories, all nationalities sharing the same residence.

ACTIVITIES :

INTENSIVE CAMPS – SPORTS ONLY
The student selects the sport that he/she wants to practise intensively during the camp. In this program, this sport is tennis.
During the week-end, and in accordance with all the campers, leisure activities are planned such as basket ball, volleyball, football, swimming, games, town visit, parties….

TENNIS
From beginner to high advanced level.
Everyday during the tennis summer camp in France, the camper will get about 4 hours of tennis lessons, and will practise freely 1 hour of tennis. The equipment is provided if necessary.
-How to improve the different strokes: backhand, return, service
-Daily matches
-Observation and analysis of the movements, demonstrations, discussions on the techniques
-“Davis Cup” at the end of the session during the tournament (age/age)
-Prize and SEJ level card delivery

ELIGIBILITY :

1 to 2 years of French study are required in order to be able to participate to this tennis summer camp program in France.

DEADLINE :

Prices 2012

PRICE INCLUDES :

-Administration fees
-Full board accommodation in shared (dormitory) or individual rooms
-Sport activities carefully supervised and lead by certified monitors on afternoons
-Access to all sports equipment of the campus
-Social activities during the weekend and on evenings
-Individual transfer from a Paris airport to the Paris train station and back
-Group transfer from a Paris train station to the Vichy campus by train, with French chaperones, and back
-Support, assistance and 24 hours emergency phone number during the whole program

PRICE DOES NOT INCLUDE :

-International airfare
-International Travel insurance
-Visa, passport and medical exam fees
-Personal expenses and pocket money
-Hotel accommodation and board in Paris (if needed due to arrival in Paris on the day before departure to the campus and/or due to departure from Paris on the day after return from the campus)
-Medical and Emergency repatriation insurance (may be provided by Nacel for an extra cost)
- Applications fees (40 euros)
