GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The Spanish school is located in Barcelona downtown, just near Las Ramblas; one of the most emblematic boulevards in Spain. The language school is well deserved, so it is easy to get there by public transport. It has an easy access from the metro and is next to 6 different bus lines. It is also a walking distance from Las Ramblas, the university, cultural centers and much more.

Facilities: A spacious, 4-story building (3,000 m2), 56 classrooms with audio-visual equipment, Teacher's meeting room, 1500 m2 of gorgeous terraces, Solarium terrace open all year round, Computer lab with free Internet access, Wi-Fi (wireless access throughout the school), a spacious, fully-stocked, modern library, Conference room with capacity for 160 people, Wheelchair accessible elevator/ lift, Air conditioning and central heat.

HIGHLIGHTS
Learn Spanish in Barcelona! Our Spanish school is situated in the heart of central Barcelona, the "Eixample" district. Furthermore, as it located in a very touristic town, the language school can be considerate as an international school, which welcomes students from all over the world. It offers a wide range of cultural activities and excursions, many free of charge. However, if you are looking for improving your Spanish out of the school it might be lost cause due to its high number of foreign residents and tourists and to the local dialect the Catalan.

Type of course: General Spanish and General Spanish + culture and civilisation.
Course level: From beginner to advanced
Course content: The program is meant to students who wish to learn the basic rules of Spanish: a stress on grammar and basic vocabulary, oral and written expression, Spanish culture and civilisation.
10, 20 courses/week or 20+5 or 25+5 (General courses+ Culture and Civilisation courses)
Class duration: 55 minutes
Test on arrival: yes
Number of student per class: 10 students maximum of different nationalities (16 for culture and civilisation classes).

Learn Spanish and have fun in Barcelona! Our Spanish school arranges cultural activities on afternoons and evenings such as city tours and/or theme tours: Roman Barcelona, Medieval Barcelona, Modernista Barcelona, Montjüic, Pueblo Español; Park Güell ; Sagrada Familia ; Picasso Museum…as well as 1-3 day excursion to Spain's best cities every week-end (Madrid, Tarragona, Montserrat…). Students remain responsible for all fees related to these activities.

LIVING COST
Big Mac Price Index: Spain= $2.09; EU. = $3.73 (according to “The Economist” data, 2006).
- Food: for two people, food bills are 350 €/month. An average restaurant per person bill is 12€. A glass of beer or wine at a bar is 1.50€. A tapa is 2€. A good lunch (menu del día) is 5-9€
- A nursery for a child is 100 €/month for 5 hours/day.
- A parking space in a garage is 90 €/month.
- A gym is 30 - 50 €/month.
- A movie theatre ticket is 6€.
- A man’s haircut is 12€.

ACCOMMODATION :

Host family: double room, half board (breakfast and evening meal).
Shared flat: double room; half board. The placement in the shared flat will be granted according to availability. A €150 deposit is required and is refunded at the end of the stay if no damage has been made.
