Our Spanish school usually arranges several activities and visits such as City tour of Alicante; Museums and special exhibits: Las Hogueras, Fine Arts, Archaeology, the Aquarium, Santa Barbara Castle; local markets and so on. Please note that these kinds of activities are usually free, but you may have to pay out of pocket expenses like entrance fees to museums and transportation. It also offers weekend trips for €30 and up, depending on the duration and distance of the trip, such as: Madrid, Barcelona, Benidorm or Valencia.

It is connected with Madrid and Barcelona by frequent Iberia and Spanair flights, with many Western European cities through carriers such as Jet2.com, EasyJet, Ryanair and Air Berlin, and has also flights to Algiers and Russia. In addition, Alicante's only link to South America, specifically Bogotá, is provided by Avianca. At your arrival take a taxi until your place of living or choose the transfer option.
Travels by bus is also organised from France and Switzerland (ALSA: www.alsa.es; LINEBUS: www.linebus.com). The Alicante tram connects the city with outlying settlements. Nearest train station: Alicante's main train station (La Estación de Tren de Alicante) is located directly in the center of the city (Avenida de Salamanca). All major Spanish cities Madrid, Seville, Barcelona have various daily connections (www.renfe.es). Alicante second train station is a narrow gauge railway station close to the harbour (www.cop.gva.es/fgv/).
