GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Our language school is ideally located inside a beautiful park and only 5 minutes away walking from shopping areas and provides students with high academic standards and exceptional facilities. Our different courses’ intensities allow you to discover the city and have free time to practice your English!
A Learning Centre is available with seats for 120 students, and there are up to 6 teachers on duty to guide students. It is equipped with 30 computers for study, 18 listening posts and 74 study desks. You will have DVDs, exercises, books and audio books, magazines and newspapers on offer. Enjoy this great facility!

HIGHLIGHTS
Learn English in Auckland! Our school is located downtown, in 5 historical buildings inside a beautiful park, in front of the University and offers you many facilities. This exceptional location will allow you to discover the city and relaxing yourself in the nearby park or to go in the many restaurants and shopping, only 4 minutes away walking! This is quite a big school with about 300 to 400 students being able to study at the same time. The learning environment offered by this school is just amazing!

COURSE
Type of course: General English: writing, speaking, listening, and reading. You can choose between 10 or 20 courses of general English per week. If you choose the 20 hours program, you study an elective option: Business English, Conversation, New-Zealand, Cinema, etc. More information about these options upon arrival at school.
Please note that you will also get 3 additional study hours supervised by a teacher, at the Learning Centre.

ACADEMIC STAFF
The school staff is well-qualified, experienced and friendly. It is an international group with teachers from New Zealand, Australia, England, Scotland, Canada, the United States and South Africa, so students can hear a wide range of accents in the school. Note that the school is a teacher training centre.
Accreditation: The school is registered by the New Zealand Ministry of Education. The courses are accredited by the New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA). The school has attained a three-year audit cycle, which is the highest NZQA rating. The school is also a signatory to the Ministry of Education's Code of Practice for the Pastoral Care of International Students.
The school was the first New Zealand’s institution to gain approval as a Cambridge Teacher Training Centre.
The school was the first language school in New Zealand, and the second in the world, to gain full ISO accreditation for its quality management systems. The school is also member of Quality English and English New Zeeland, organizations which gather several quality language schools.

LOCATION
With more than 1 million inhabitants, Auckland is the biggest city in New Zealand. This unique, dynamic and cosmopolite city offers an ideal environment for studying and having fun. A few minutes away from the downtown and the shops, you will discover magnificent beaches to go swimming, along with numerous parks. The climate is temperate and enjoyable. There is also a big harbour with thousands of yachts! Zoo, restaurants, bars, museums, concerts, sports, there are always plenty things to do in Auckland!
During your stay, you will also be able to discover the fabulous country of New Zealand. Famous for being home to the All Blacks Team, this country shelters a concentration of the most wonderful landscapes in the world: white sand beaches, turquoise Ocean, glaciers, fjords, mountains and volcanoes awaits you there!
New Zealand also hosts a really diversified fauna: you will be able to see, in the natural habitat, amazing animals, like sea lions, penguins, whales, and you’ll be able to swim along dolphins in the wild!

LEISURE ACTIVITIES
The school has daily activities on offer and organizes special events which allow students to mix with teachers and other students outside class hours. Every activity is supervised by a teacher or the activities co-ordinator to ensure there is a good mixture of safety and fun. Activities are not included in the price. Example of activities: ice-skate, ten pin bowling, hike, harbour cruise, soccer, party, museums, golf, art gallery, and much more.

ACCOMMODATION :

Host family: single room, half board on weekdays, full board on weekends.
Shared flat (18YO+): single room, self catering. Flats are located 15 minutes away walking from the school. After your arrival, a deposit of 300 NZD will be asked to you, then given back after inventory and statement of state of repair. At the end of your stay, you will also have to pay 60 NZD for the cleaning service.
