GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Our German school is well located near several attractions such as: Museumsinsel (1.5 km ); Hackesche Höfe (1.5 km); Jüdisches Museum (1.5 km ); Reichstag (2 km ); Brandenburger Tor (2.5 km). The campus has 5 houses, their architecture reflecting German history.
Date of creation: 1983
Facilities: 9.000 m2 garden; 40 classrooms; 2 guesthouses with 50 studios-apartments; cafeteria (8 am - 4 pm) and restaurant (11 am – 12 at night); lounge with movie screen; garden café; book store; free Internet access and 20 computers, a bicycle rental service. 

HIGHLIGHTS
Learn German in Berlin! Our German school is located at Kastanienallee in trendy Berlin Prenzlauer Berg, an area very attended by students from Berlin. The language school offers an affordable price including activities, pedagogical material and several noticeable facilities. This German school is the only language school in Germany with on site accommodation all year round! Another advantage of this school is that German students also attend the school to study foreign languages, which creates a great opportunity to meet with local people! 

COURSE
Type of course: General German classes
Number of classes: 20 hours/week (Monday-Friday; 9 am-12:30 pm; 12 students/group); 30 hours/week (Monday-Friday; 9 am-12:30 pm / 1.15pm- 2:45 pm); 20 standard classes + 10 intensive classes with 6 students maximum/group).
Course level: From beginner to advanced
Course content: The goal is to reinforce the command of German or to improve some skills such as grammar, vocabulary, phonetics and conversation.
Class duration: 45 minutes

Number of student per class: 12 students maximum of different nationalities.

ACADEMIC STAFF
All teachers have university degrees. Not only are they experienced teachers but they are also interesting people to talk to.
Accreditation: Senate of Berlin, US-universities and the Swedish Ministry of Education.

ACCESS/TRANSPORTATION

-Regular airlines to the a Berlin airport (Tegel, Schoenefeld, Tempelhof)
-Low-cost airlines: Easy Jet, Ryanair, Brussel Airlines, Clickair, Flybe, Germanwings, Wizz Air, Air Berlin, Transavia, Monarch, Sky Europe…
Nearest airport: Tegel TXL; Schoenefeld SFX; Tempelhof THF.
Train: Bahnhof Zoo; Hauptbahnhof; Ostbahnof train stations.
When you arrive at any of these railway stations, change into city train (= S- Bahn) going to Alexander Platz. From Alexander Platz take metro line U 8 only 1 stop till Rosenthalen platz.

Transfer possibilities: pick-up at the airport (Tegel or Schonefeld) or at the Railway station and assistance until the place of living and/or walk-home programme at the end of the stay for a stay in a campus accommodation (from 8 am to 8 pm). Cost for each way: 40 EUR (included if you choose the host family accommodation).

ACCOMMODATION :

Host family: single room, half board (breakfast and evening meal). Host families live within 5 to 50 minutes to the school by public transportation or bicycle.
In a flat on the campus (18+): double room; breakfast included; telephone; TV and a small kitchen. The campus has a cafeteria and a restaurant.
Please note that some small expenses should be taken into account such as the rooms cleaning or the extra charge regarding the accommodation in summer. A €100 deposit is charged at your arrival and will be refunded at the end of your stay after the inventory and statement of state of repair. €30 will be charged for the rooms cleaning.
Places are limited, please book as soon as possible.
