Sydney, with more than 4 millions inhabitants, is the most populated city in Australia. The first British colony established itself in Sydney, in 1788, and the city has kept growing ever since. Before the arrival of British settlers, native Australians were already settled there. Sydney is a majestic, famous city, nicknamed “the Harbour city”, because it has been built around a harbour.
Sydney is like Australia: multicultural, attractive, and dazzling enjoyed by all its visitants. Sydney hosts many festivals and cultural events. You will also find many theatres, the famous Opera which has become a symbol of the city and many places for night’s birds such as clubs, cafés, restaurants…
Sydney is a city with a very enjoyable climate. The summer starts in December while winter starts in June, and medium temperatures range from 13 (in winter) to 23 (in summer) degree Celsius. With such a nice weather and the proximity of the ocean, Sydney offers an almost Mediterranean atmosphere to its visitors.

Learn English in Sydney! Our school is located in the Bondi Junction area, one of the most popular et attractive area in Sydney. The school itself is 10 minutes away from the Bondi Beach et from the Sydney Opera. Students will have access to several shops, coffees and restaurants close to the school. The facilities of the school includes 30 classrooms, 3 computer rooms and 2 leisure rooms with Table Tennis material et beverage/snacks vending machines. Students will also enjoy the mediatheque where they can study after classes. They will find in this mediatheque 2 computer rooms with Internet access, as well as TV, DVD players and a library. ELIGIBILITY
Age: 16+
Minimum language level: Beginner
VISA
Part-time courses are not available for Student Visa holders. Tourist Visa holders can study for a maximum of 12 weeks. Working Holiday visa holders can study for a maximum of 17 weeks.
Please ask to the Australian Embassy in your country of origin which type of visa you will need. For stay longer than 3 months, a visa is definitively needed as well as an insurance called OSHC (25 euros/month).

Homestay: Host family, half-board, single room. Families are located 30 to 45 minutes away from the school.
Residence: Double room, with breakfast et shared bathrooms. The residence is located 5-10 minutes away from the school and 10-15 minutes from the beach.
Supplement for students aged less than 18 years old: 40 euros/week.

There is no classes the first day as students take the test and attend an information meeting.
ACCESS/TRANSPORTATION
Many airlines have regular flights to Sydney’s airport.
Taxi: If you go to Sydney city, you can expect to pay 50 AUD approximate return fares from Sydney Airport, and the same fee for the return.
Public Route Bus: Sydney Buses has a timetables service between Bondi Junction and Burwood which includes the T1 International and T3 Domestic Terminals in the route. Clearly marked bus stops are located on the arrivals level of each of these terminals. Information about fares, timetables and connections to other parts of Sydney is available at www.sydneybuses.info.
Transfer possibilities: Airport pick-up and transfer can be organized at an additional cost (115 EUR one way).
