Students who are interested in studying the Spanish language should not overlook the wonderful opportunities to discover the Mexican culture. The Nacel academic program in Mexico will offer them the opportunity to live with a Mexican host family eager to share its way of life and to become a member of the local community and school. In Mexico, students are in school for 4 to 6 hours a day. During the academic program in Mexico, classes start at the end of August and finish in June. The first academic semester in Mexico finishes in January.
SCHOOL SYSTEM
Public schools in Mexico serve 87% of all students in the country. The Mexican School system is divided as follows: the pre-escolar, the primaria, the secundaria and the preparatoria school. Most of the international students will attend classes in a preparatoria school. In the preparatoria schools, students must choose one of 4 professional areas: physical-mathematics, chemical-biological, economic-administrative, or humanities.

ELIGIBILITY :
Students must be interviewed in their home country before being accepted in this high school program in Mexico.
A minimum of 2 years of Spanish study and good academic results are required in order to be able to participate to this academic program in Mexico.
