DESCRIPTION :
ELIGIBILITY : 12 to 17 years old.
LENGTH : 2 weeks Spanish summer camp.
LANGUAGE COURSES:,On mornings,language classes will be held during 3 hours from monday to friday during the Spanish summer camp. Participants are in little groups of 10 to 15 students. There will be a level language test on arrival, and an individual ckeck at the end of the camp. All of our teacher in the Spanish summer camp are spanish and have a further diploma that allow you to teach Spanish to foreigners.
ACTIVITIES : During the afternoon at the spanish summer camp, a large range of outdoor activities is offered: Basket, badminton, baseball, orienteering, football, hockey, table tennis, ultimate, volley, swimming, big games, animated evenings. During our Spanish summer camp, there will also be a full day excursion in Barcelona.
LOCATION : Our summer camp in Spain is in the natural park of Sierra de Marina, 15 minutes away from Barcelona. This is a seaside (7 km away from the coast) and sunny location.
OBJECTIVES : The goal of the Spanish summer camp is to develop participant's knowledge of the local language in an international context. During the Spanish summer camp, participantsshare various sports with young people ofmany countries.
SUMMER CAMP: More than a German summer camp, an ethic: We aim at developing a team spirit, empathy and a fair play attitude among the campers.
LANGUAGE LESSONS : The Spanish summer camp offers language courses in small classes of 10 to 15 , 2 or 3 levels. Average of 15 hours language tuition per week. Lessons are delivered by qualified teachers, native speakers of the language taught.
During the Spanish summer camp, emphasis is set on oral language practice though students will also have a full exposure to grammar and written language.
All our summer camps are based on a non smoking policy.
EVENINGS : Social evenings are organized every night during the Spanish summer camp: social games, karaoke, discos, etc.
EXCURSIONS : Excursions are organized twice a week during the Spanish summer camp to visit Barcelona and its many monuments,...
ACCOMMODATION : During the Spanish summer camp, students will be accommodated in shared rooms (2 participants with private bathroom in each room ) . The three meals are provided on site, in the center's refectory : both lunches and evening meals are hot meals (exceptionnaly, a cold meal can be provided on a full day excursion).
ARRIVALS : Students must arrive on the fixed arrival date at the closest airport indicated for each program.
PROGRAM DATES : These Spanish summer campsare organized during the summer school vacations of the hosting country (July and August).
