Nacel Summer Camps highlights
ELIGIBILITY : 12 to 17 years old.
LENGTH : 2 weeks German summer camp.
LANGUAGE COURSES:,On mornings,language classes will be held during 3 hours from monday to friday during the German summer camp. Participants are in little groups of 10 to 15 students. There will be a level language test on arrival, and an individual ckeck at the end of the camp. All of our teacher in the German summer camp are German and have a further diploma.
ACTIVITIES : During the afternoon at the German summer camp, a large range of outdoor activities is offered: Basket, badminton, baseball, orienteering, football, hockey, table tennis, ultimate, volley, swimming-pool, big games, animated evenings. During our German summer camp, there will also be excursions.
LOCATION : Our summer camp in Germany is in St Andreasberg, a beautiful city in a national park.
OBJECTIVES : The goal of the German summer camp is to develop participant's knowledge of the local language in an international context. During the German summer camp, participantsshare various sports with young people ofmany countries.
SUMMER CAMP: More than a German summer camp, an ethic: We aim at developing a team spirit, empathy and a fair play attitude among the campers.
LANGUAGE LESSONS : The German summer camp offers language courses in small classes of 10 to 15 , 2 or 3 levels. Average of 15 hours language tuition per week. Lessons are delivered by qualified teachers, native speakers of the language taught.
During the German summer camp, emphasis is set on oral language practice though students will also have a full exposure to grammar and written language.
All our summer camps are based on a non smoking policy.
EVENINGS : Social evenings are organized every night during the German summer camp: social games, karaoke, discos, etc.
EXCURSIONS : Excursions will be held on Saturdays during the German summer camp
ACCOMMODATION : During the German summer camp, students will be accommodated in shared rooms (2 to 4 participants) , with bathrooms and showers on each plant, and sometimes in the room. The three meals are provided on site, on a sef-service basis : both lunches and evening meals are hot meals (exceptionnaly, a cold meal can be provided on a full day excursion).
ARRIVALS : Students must arrive on the fixed arrival date at the closest airport indicated for each program.
PROGRAM DATES : These German summer camps are organized during the summer school vacations of the hosting country (July and August).
