Volunteer and learn Spanish
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Our Volunteer and learn Spanish abroad programs are a unique opportunity for students who wish to learn Spanish abroad while working for a non-profit organization.
Our volunteering programs are composed of 2 different parts:
• Volunteers spend the first part of their stay abroad in a language school, improving and learning Spanish.
• The second part of their stay will be spent working as a volunteer in a non-profit organization abroad.
• Our volunteers have to show that they are mature and that they do not consider these volunteering programs as a low-cost travel option. The volunteering programs are a very good options for students who think that the best way to improve a language is while being surrounded by native speakers, and for volunteers who want to offer a little of their time to improve other’s life. These volunteer opportunities are once in a lifetime experiences you will never forget!

LANGUAGE COURSES
Before the voluntary work, students will spend 4 weeks ( shorter or longer stays on request) in one of our carefully selected language schools. Depending on their choice, they will receive 20 to 30 hours of Spanish classes each week, providing them with the necessary tools to be able to communicate with other volunteers and local workers during their voluntary work.
VOLUNTEERING
The voluntary opportunities are offered in local non-profit organizations. Volunteers will choose the length of their voluntary stay (at least one week). Volunteers will be integrated to the team of volunteers, and their work will be as important as anyone else’s inside the association. We believe that every volunteer has something to bring to the non-profit organization he will be working with as a volunteer, and we try as much as possible to encourage our students to benefit from these exceptional volunteer opportunities. A description of the voluntary works is available on the specific page of each program.
ACCOMMODATION
During the language school program, you will be hosted either by a host family or in shared flat, depending on your destination and your choice, on a half-board basis (host families) or self-catering (shared flat).
The accommodation during the volunteering depends on the destination; please have a look at each program. You can be lodged in host families, or in the association’s building or in a residence. The association will provide you at least one meal per day, depending on your destination. When you will be in contact with the association, do not hesitate to ask any question you have regarding this matter.
WORK CONDITIONS
